Whoa, let the sun beat down upon my face

And stars to fill my dream

I am a traveler of both time and space

To be where I have been

T' sit with elders of a gentle race

This world is seldom seen

Th' talk of days for which they sit and wait;

All will be revealed

Talk and song from tongues of lilting grace

Whose sounds caress my ear

But not a word I heard could I relate

The story was quite clear

Whoa-hoh, whoa-wa-oh

Oooh, oh baby, I been flyin'

Lord, yeah, mama, there ain't no denyin'

Oh, oooh yes, I've been flying

Mama, mama, ain't no denyin', no denyin'

Oh, all I see turns to brown

As the sun burns the ground

And my eyes fill with sand

As I scan this wasted land

Tryin' to find, tryin' to find where I beeeeeuhoaoh

Oh, pilot of the storm who leaves no trace

Like thoughts inside a dream

Heed the path that led me to that place

Yellow desert scream

My Shangri-La beneath the summer moon;

I will return again

Sure as the dust that floats high in June

When movin' through Kashmir

Oh, father of the four winds, fill my sails

Across the sea of years

With no provision but an open face

'Long the straits of fear

Whaoh, whaoh

Whaoh-oh, oh

Ohhhh

Well, when I want, when I'm on my way, yeah

When I see, when I see the way, you stay-yeah

Ooh, yeah-yeah, ooh, yeah-yeah, well I'm down, yes

Ooh, yeah-yeah, ooh, yeah-yeah, well I'm down, so down

Ooh, my baby, oooh, my baby, let me take you there

Oh, oh, come on, come on

Oh, let me take you there

Let me take you there

Whoo-ooh, yeah-yeah, whoo-ooh, yeah-yeah, let me take you

I have since the 9th grade loved Led Zeppelin. I didn't know then and to this day I don't know why, but when I hear their music, I feel safe somehow. When I lived at home with my parents, my father used to beat on the walls and yell upstairs;

"NANCY, TURN THAT GODDAMN THING DOWN."

Needless to say, the band played on. I soon was given my first pair of KOSS headphones.

At 14, the guy I was going with invited me to a friends house, and we were all going to listen to Zeppelin. It was there, that I had my first microdot.

BitterSweet is Zeppelin to me... but I love it.

Since you followed me down here, I'll tell you something. I really did do my first hit of acid while listening to Misty Mountain Hop. I thought it was the greatest thing in the world. I was a jerk. It took me years to realize, that I didn't HAVE to be high to listen to Zeppelin. I have been sober since March 16th, 1991... 3:01am.

Please, I hate to preach here, but drugs suck.

There is nothing BitterSweet about them.

They suck.

If you need help, call information in your area and ask for a local chapter of:

Alcoholics Anonymous

Narcotics Anonymous

Cocaine Anonymous

When you reach them, ask for a meeting list in your area. You can go to a meeting in most cases 24 hours a day. If there is no meeting, someone at the hotline will talk your through it. If you have lost your license, someone WILL pick you up and drop you off.

I don't remember any of my high school years. I was wasted from the bus ride in, till I got home. Drugs robbed me of allot of stuff.

They suck.
