There's not to tell but I will try to reveal what and who I am. I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. I lived there from birth to the second grade. Then my father thought it would be nice if his family joined him on Okinawa. Six years later we were back in Hawaii. High school was a shock for me because a large number of students from Hawaii did not accept me, in fact I was treated as an outsider. That's probably why I am not to fond of schools that I attended while living in Hawaii. It was my junior year in high school when I started writing poetry. I didn't know much about it but I enjoyed the format it used. My undergraduate studies took me to Oregon where I was introduced to the poets of the Northwest. Those that could not get published, published themselves and then saturated the public with their poetry. I thought about doing that but my money could always be use for other things more important. With every romance came my poetry and the person that appreciated it the most became my wife. We have been married for 23 years and have two children, a daughter who is in her second year at Northern Arizona University, and a son who is a junior at Cerritos High School. My graduate studies dealt with student counseling, but I prefer to remain in the classroom where the action is. I have been with the Los Angeles Unified School District for 27 years and there has not been a dull moment since I started. My wife and I both enjoy golf and every year we try and go to somewhere where the grass and climate is greener than before.
