Each "Empire" within Spyder's Poetry Empire^®, has a theme and general guidelines of itself. I have rated the Empire's Of Poetry and used the guidelines of the movie industry to do so, as they are recognizable and generally understood easily.

• The ANGST Empire - R17 - Angst writing. Adult language and or themes.
• The Empire of Love, Romance and Heartbreak - PG13 - Work here is deals with the tile of the Empire. It is happy, sad, hopeful. 
• The Graffiti Empire - R - Topics are discussed, with occasional adult language. It is asked that if the person posting is going to cut loose in some way, that they mark the post with ****before the title, as to forewarn the viewers in advance.
• The Haiku Empire - PG13 - Only haiku is posted here and may contain occasional adult language.
• The Bitching Empire - R17 - work that is suicidal, whiney, complaining, sassy, fussy, cheeky and generally just bitching off. This is the place to let that go.
• The Empire of Fine Whine - R - to complain and drone on about people, places and things in your life - whine and complain, talk about how you hate your life, whine about your job, school, parents, or a lover.... or just generally sit high atop your pity pot.
• Empire: Diary - R - This is a place to write about your day. To share experiences, happenings, events, good new and bad news.
• Lyrics - PG13 - Poems and writing which the writer feels can translate into music. Occasional adult language and themes.
• Empire of Sci-fi and Fantasy - PG13 - Poems and writing which pertain exclusively to Science Fiction and Fantasy - (NOT sexual fantasy.) Occasional adult language and themes.
• Empire of Kid's Tales - G - Poems, writing, stories and tales that are written FOR children.  This Empire is STRICTLY RATED G.
• Empire:WORKSHOPPE - PG13 - This is a membership - you must first apply and be accepted to participate. A writing/poetry workshoppe that the members set criteria for on a bi-weekly basis. Feedback and a private BB to discuss writing techniques.
• Open BB - PG13 - Topics are discussed, with occasional adult language. It is asked that if the person posting is going to cut loose in some way, that they mark the post with ****before the title, as to forewarn the viewers in advance.
• The Empire of Hell - R17 - Work in the Empire is strictly horror and terror. Poetry or short stories. All are written with dark overtones and for a mature audience. 
• The Back Alley - R17 - Simply put this is a place to argue. It's a place to fight it out. If you have a problem with someone on the site... you come here and slug it out.
• The Round Table - R - The Round Table is a place to have an intelligent discussion. It is a place to meet minds with others. A place to talk about current events, philosophy & life. This is a forum for serious discussion ONLY.

• Empire ELITE - R - This is a membership only Empire. You must first apply and be accepted to post work. Work posted here has a content combination of all the other Empires of poetry. There is no ability to post follow-up comments or responses. This site is fully archived.
