it shouldn't shock me
I've been alone most of my life
Yah, maybe I am just feeling sorry for myself,
but I have the right to do so, don't I?
So here I am
all alone...
while others write about the happiness they've found
or waiting in anticipation
to see if she'll say yes
I sit at my computer
and write poetry to no one
because I have no one...
and that's how my life will always be
