To never feel the caress of a kiss
From your soft and pouty lips
The gentle brush of the lightest touch
From your dainty finger tips
The warmth of a simple embrace
Providing simple feelings of no fear
Left to become lost
In the comfort of your arms
Desires never to be realized
Yet to stare into a star filled sky
To follow the path of cotton ball clouds
Sliding across the contrasting blue
On a warm spring day
To watch the sun’s sparkles
Dancing on the emerald surface
Of a slow moving river
All remind me that there exists
Things of endless beauty
Which brings feelings of peace
Over the depths of one’s soul
With no boundaries or limits
As where I can go, what I can feel
If no where else than in my dreams
