In the midnight deadness
The air smells of all hollows Eve
Coldness, chills me through
The embracing of the dead
I look up into the night sky
To see the black couds passing
Moon, so bright and full tonight
Calling me into the cold
The wind howling through the leaves
of the dying trees tonight
The dead, whispering in the darkness
I step in a puddle of blood
dripping down from my neck
My love has found me tonight
