-sleeping beauty-
come whisper this madness to my mind
and for a song, my breath unwind
in all the richness i have wanted past
i'd gladly give for a melody to last
see what gifts a sleeping angel may give
when you decide that by her beauty you will live
and in her eyes you see the blood behind her smile
but wake her not, although you may think her dreams vile
she is, only at best, a holy reptile
but in the blankness of each solitary word
there is a poet screaming for once chance to be heard
and if i am that one in mind
hopefully i am the one you seek to find
come whisper a bit of purity to me
for lord knows it is goodness only i need
since i already have the other vices in me
evils and various ailments, yet i lack peace
so you see what i project while here i sleep
