Lost between nowhere and eternity
Forgotton, abandoned,
By the world around me
Seeking a respite,
Hidden behind a wall of pain
My soul screams in anguish
A heart once so strong, so proud,
Now lies shattered,
Torn apart,
Fragmented and scattered
by the gusty winds of fate.
Empty paths lie ahead
Rock strewn and shadowed in silence
Hopes and dreams recede
chased into the shadows
Of yesterdays failures
Friends, once trusted,
Long since turned their backs
And travers their own secret paths,
I stand lost, confused and alone
Caring not if tomorrow comes
To a soul lost between
Nowhere and eternity.
