when i was a little girl, i always used to cry

i have family in San Antonio
they always get annoyed when company comes from
out of town, and want to do the tourist thing

i think i must have lived somewhere in the hill
country back in the mid 1800's
sometimes on the drive from Boerne to Fredricksburg
i feel a sense a past life - a familiar landscape
seen through the eyes of a little girl
