jagged yet creamy
the me pond is invaded by
starship overdrive
and melons melting honey blue shoes
sweet heart take me there
don’t let the cinnamon ornaments
consume me whole
rocky chairs protect this precious place from
space aliens
crawling with infrared angels
the stony glare from
their virgin marble eyes
isn’t as innocent as the infectious water
you dipped your big toe in
the me pond
