nobody ever contributes

without learning something

I recently had somebody ask me
about wave formations

and there are two different contributions
one is height or frequency

the other is pitch the distance between them

get you a fifty foot slinky
and stretch it down a hallway

the point is to see how many of the waves
bounce back from one end to the other

most will raise the slinky up and down

if you push it forwards you get the pitch

both are necessary requirements
