I was born into the wrong ear
Traits once considered honorable:
Dignity, Pride, Respect
Mean nothing in a society based on:
Deceit, Greed, and Deception
How can one like myself compete in these tomes?
When cheating has become the norm.
I could stoop to their level
And take her for my own
But then I wouldn't want her.
She'd be just like the rest.
So here I sit,
Wishing we lived in simpler times.....
