i lost my wallet
to orphan masses of skeletons
awaiting a greater prize
lost in sunshine horizon clouds consume
my credit cards and
personal identification
issued to me
by the head office of government
the Social Security Number
escapes in to the sage field
ticket stubs
to wars and romance
perished in the
thick cigar smoke
of a Baltimore street
the only material
i accounted for the
eight dollars
i seem to drain away amongst
the Hollywood lights
away moves
all the pictures of
family dancing
and the recent ex-girlfriend
smiling once proudly her
toothpaste reference
like motion pictures of
black and white memories
posted from graduation or a prom
the lone picture of my mother
all evaperated
all gone
all lost
all for the
three dollars i had
shoved in it carelessly
for a Green Tea and gum
before i road off to work
all lost
all for what
-- the end
I've missed you all...
peace...
