Frost settles
Frozen are the seasons
Reflections of memories
A lifetime past
Joe contemplates

Dear Lord
I’ve lived a wretched life
I know this now

Many years you’ve granted me
While I’ve given You none
I’m sorry for Your Love I haven’t won

Dear Joe
Time is the seasons gathering frost
Quieting the spirit reveals the heart
You’re a good man Joe
I know this now
