An Animated Graphic is the use of words and or pictures to relay a message in a moving presentation. Generally speaking, they are used sparingly on a business site. When viewing a page, only one animated graphic should be seen per viewing page (one page scroll through). Too much movement on a page, distracts the viewer's eye, and the impact of animation is lost.

When properly placed, they make a direct statement, and draw your eyes to the graphic. An animated graphic may be your logo, an icon or just a symbol. They may be decorative, or functionally linked to a URL inside or outside of your site.
