He who holds power, pleasure and pain
within his words
Words made magical under his tender touch
Leaving beauty where none existed
Words painstakingly contrived and mingled
for desired effect
for affective desire
Sinking deep within
touching the private parts
of her heart
and the lost places
in her mind
Stirring, rousing,
giving rise to restrainable reaction
Almost puppetlike
she responds
simply because
she loves
the poet
