The journey has been long,
But my heart is forever strong.
Helping me pass this loneliness,
Your hands guided me in darkness.
Your words of wisdom gave me hope,
Watching that I will not grope.
The test which You've made,
Would sometimes made me fade.
My faith is sometimes weak,
Knowing not what I must seek.
Lifting up my eyes...I have seen,
A lovely creation so free and clean.
Blinding my eyes are the desert sands,
Tightly You've held both my hands.
As I slowly took each aching stride,
You have always been at my side.
