"Madness"
Ever miss someone so bad... you ache?
Ever have someone stand so tall above the rest in your life,
others merely hide in his shadow?
Ever sit with tears in your eyes,
thinking of someone you can't reach out and touch?
Ever hear a song and instantly feel their presence?
I awake from sleep dreaming of you,
of us...
and the music that surrounds.
Just for a moment,
I taste you.
I smell you on my skin.
I feel your fullness inside of my body.
I hear the gravel of your voice.
My skin burns from your whiskers.
Heat.
Then I open my eyes.
I'm alone in bed.
I awake from a dream of us.
I live the nightmare of me alone.
But still...
We Are
. . . . .
