I thought I saw your car today
Parked along the street
I turned around

Where you are
the sun must shine
but here it rains and snows
even the wind blows

I heard your name just the other day
in a crowded store
I turned as if you would be there
looking down on me
It's so easy to forget
when i don't force myself to remember

I dont wish for sunny skies
not unless you bring them
maybe if the rain stays
it will wash the truth away
