"The Flame"
I look at the flame
So pure and bright
My mind as empty
As a starless night
I touch the flame
So real and hot
It brings to awareness
The feelings I forgot
I smell the flame
So harsh, so frightening
It fills me inside and
Explodes like lightening
I hear the flame
Such a dull roar
For my inhumanities
There is no cure
I taste the flame
So real for now
My body turns to dull, lifeless ashes
Take a bow.
